It’s not great but enjoyable enough to watch!!!
This movie is about a woman who works as a babysitter named Greta Evans, played by Lauren Cohan. Greta must take care of the child of Mr. and Mrs. Heelshire called Brahm. Later she discovered that Brahm is a doll. Brahm’s parents gave Greta some rules to follow. Initially, she ignores the rules about The Doll and follows her routine. It ended up she got a terrifying incident in the house.
This movie kind of looks stupid and ordinary. She got a horrifying experience in the house, like a door that opened by itself, a scary child sound, and got locked in the attic. But after that event, she never wants to leave the house because she needs money. It’s nonsense. The plot is the same likes the other garbage horror movies.
The atmosphere is creepy. The jumpscare is good, not cheap. The development of the main character in this movie is quite good. At first, the main character didn’t even care about Bhrams (The Doll). Then, she goes through some mysterious experience. After that, she feels connected to Brahms (The Doll) and becomes closer to Brahm.
When at the end of the movie, it made me shocked. It’s out of nowhere. Something that I don’t even think. I love the twist. It turns out that Brahm has been living behind a wall all this time. His parents keep hiding him. When Brahm comes out from the wall, it’s so nerve-racking. Jesus, my eyes bulge while watching it. If the ending looks like a supernatural movie, I would say this movie sucks. But it’s not. I’m tired of watching a film like Annabelle and Chucky!
Overall, this movie is worth watching. It’s not wasting your time and is enjoyable enough. Don’t expect a great story and dialog, just having fun with the atmosphere and the jumpscare. I give this movie 5 out of 10.
